A life between two cultures. More than 20 years of relocation experience.

I have been working as a relocation consultant for more than two decades.

I help people navigate the often challenging process of settling in Germany – from the very first steps after arrival to finding practical solutions for everyday life. Whether they are coming to Germany for a few months, several years, or for the long term, I help them find their way, overcome obstacles and feel more at home in their new surroundings.

It is a job I genuinely love.

My own life has always been international

I was born in Germany to an Italian father and a German mother. When I was four, my family moved to Bologna in Italy, and ten years later we returned to northern Germany. Growing up between two cultures and being educated bilingually gave me a natural interest in languages, people and different ways of life from an early age.

While studying at university in Munich, my first son was born. I then made the decision to return to Italy, where I spent the next twelve years of my life.

I lived in several very different parts of the country – first on the island of Elba, then in Tuscany, later in Rimini, and finally in Venice. In Rimini, I studied Tourism at the University of Bologna and graduated with a degree in Tourism Studies.

Living and working in different places taught me something that no textbook can: what it feels like to arrive somewhere new, to adapt to a different culture, to find your way around, and gradually turn an unfamiliar place into a place that feels like home.

From tourism to relocation

Throughout my years in Italy, I worked in various positions in tourism and administration. In 1994, I decided to return to Germany and move to Dresden – a city I hardly knew at the time.

I deliberately chose a place where I had never lived before. I wanted a fresh start and was ready for a new adventure.

After the birth of my two younger sons in 2000, I finally took the step into self-employment and founded my own agency in Dresden, focusing on tourism and destination services.

Over the years, my work with international visitors, companies and professionals naturally led me into relocation.

Today, I combine my personal experience of living between cultures with more than 40 years of professional experience in tourism and more than 20 years in relocation.

Why I do what I do

Relocating to another country is about much more than paperwork and finding an apartment.

It is about understanding how things work, knowing where to go for help, navigating cultural differences and having someone to turn to when something doesn’t go according to plan.

This is where I can make a difference.

My local knowledge of Dresden, larger Saxony, Turingia, my international background and my experience working with people from different countries allow me to look at relocation from both sides – as someone who knows Germany very well and as someone who has experienced living abroad herself.

I speak fluent German, Italian and English, have a good knowledge of Spanish and basic knowledge of French.

And perhaps most importantly: I know what it means to arrive somewhere new.

That is why I don’t just help people relocate to Germany.

I help them find their way.
